Terms of Service

Last updated: August 21, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Anchor ("Anchor," "we," "us," or "our"), including the website at anchor-crm.me and related application features (the "Service"). By creating an account, accepting these Terms in the product, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

These Terms are a product agreement, not legal advice for your sponsorship deals. You should have counsel review documents that matter for your organization.

1. The Service

Anchor is a sponsorship management platform that helps organizations track sponsors, contacts, campaigns, events, documents, and related workflows. Features may change over time as we improve the product.

2. Eligibility and accounts

  • You must be able to form a binding contract to use the Service.
  • You are responsible for the activity that occurs under your account.
  • You must provide accurate account information and keep access to your Google sign-in credentials secure.
  • Organization admins/managers are responsible for managing member access and roles inside their workspace.
  • You must review and accept these Terms (and our Privacy Policy) before creating an account. We may also require re-acceptance when material terms change.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for unlawful, harmful, or fraudulent purposes
  • Upload content you do not have rights to use, including documents or files imported from Google Drive
  • Attempt to access another organization's data without authorization
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service, security controls, or other users
  • Reverse engineer, scrape, or abuse the Service except as permitted by law
  • Use the Service to send unlawful spam or marketing that violates applicable anti-spam or privacy laws
  • Use generated or exported documents to misrepresent facts, authority, payment status, or legal rights

4. Your content

You retain ownership of the content you submit to Anchor, including sponsor records, contacts, templates, and uploaded files. You grant Anchor a limited license to host, process, display, and transmit that content solely as needed to provide the Service to your organization.

You represent that you have all rights necessary to upload and process the content you submit, and that doing so does not violate any law or third-party rights.

5. Document generation and templates

The Service may help you create, populate, preview, download, or store agreements, invoices, receipts, and similar documents using templates and data you or your organization provide (together, "Generated Documents").

  • Not legal advice. Anchor does not provide legal, tax, accounting, or compliance advice. Generated Documents and any sample/default wording are productivity tools and starting points only.
  • Your responsibility for accuracy. You and your organization are solely responsible for reviewing Generated Documents before use, signature, or distribution—including amounts, dates, party names, payment terms, deliverables, logos, and any factual or legal statements.
  • No warranty of fitness for a particular deal. We do not warrant that any template, merge field, or Generated Document is complete, enforceable, jurisdiction-appropriate, or suitable for your transaction.
  • Misrepresentation. You are responsible for ensuring Generated Documents do not contain false, misleading, or unauthorized statements. Anchor is not liable for claims arising from content you choose to generate, edit, send, or rely on.
  • Third parties. If a sponsor, counterparty, or other third party relies on a Generated Document, that reliance is at your and their own risk. You agree to defend and hold Anchor harmless from claims related to Generated Documents you produce or distribute using the Service, to the maximum extent permitted by law.

6. Google Sign-In and Google Drive

Anchor may offer Google Sign-In and optional Google Drive file import. Your use of Google services remains subject to Google's terms and privacy policy. Drive import is user-initiated: Anchor only accesses files you choose to import. You can revoke Google access at any time through your Google Account settings. Profile photos shown in Anchor may come from your Google account profile picture.

7. Organizations and shared workspaces

Content in an organization workspace may be visible to other members of that organization according to their roles. If you invite others, you are responsible for ensuring those invitations are appropriate.

8. Communications

By using the Service you agree that we may send transactional messages required to operate your account and workspace (for example, security notices, organization invites, and responses to support requests you submit).

Product update or marketing emails are optional. We send those only if you opt in, and you may withdraw consent at any time in Settings or by contacting us. Opting out of marketing does not affect transactional messages needed to provide the Service.

9. Analytics and cookies

The Service uses essential cookies and similar technologies for authentication and workspace context. Optional Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights are used to understand product usage and performance and are enabled only with your consent, as described in our Privacy Policy. You can change analytics preferences in Settings.

10. Third-party services

The Service relies on third-party providers for authentication, hosting, database, storage, email delivery, and optional analytics (including Supabase, Vercel, Resend, and Google). Your use of the Service is also subject to those providers' applicable terms where relevant.

11. Availability and changes

We aim to keep Anchor available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features with or without notice when reasonably necessary.

12. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT, TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. WITHOUT LIMITING THE FOREGOING, ANCHOR DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES REGARDING GENERATED DOCUMENTS, TEMPLATES, MERGED DATA, AND ANY OUTPUT OF THE DOCUMENT FEATURES, INCLUDING ACCURACY, COMPLETENESS, LEGAL EFFECT, OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR TRANSACTION.

13. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ANCHOR AND ITS OPERATORS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE — INCLUDING CLAIMS ARISING FROM GENERATED DOCUMENTS, ALLEGED MISREPRESENTATION IN DOCUMENTS YOU CREATE OR DISTRIBUTE, OR RELIANCE BY YOU OR ANY THIRD PARTY ON SUCH DOCUMENTS. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID TO ANCHOR FOR THE SERVICE IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM, OR USD $100 IF YOU HAVE NOT PAID ANY FEES.

14. Indemnification

To the maximum extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Anchor and its operators from claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of: (a) your use of the Service; (b) content you submit; (c) Generated Documents you create, edit, or distribute; or (d) your violation of these Terms or applicable law.

15. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, create risk for the Service or other users, or if required for legal or security reasons. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends, though provisions that should reasonably survive will continue to apply.

16. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated Terms on this page and revise the "Last updated" date. If material changes require re-acceptance, we may prompt you in the product before you continue. If you continue using the Service after changes take effect (including after accepting an updated version), you accept the updated Terms where permitted by law.

17. Contact
